Taith, the international learning exchange programme for Wales, is looking for six members to join its newly refreshed Advisory Board.
The Taith Advisory Board sits at the very heart of the Taith governance structure. Its role is to provide independent advice, guidance and challenge to the Taith Programme Executive and the International Learning Exchange Programme Limited (ILEP Ltd) Board and is supported by sector-specific stakeholder groups.
The Taith Advisory Board is looking for experienced individuals who can demonstrate strategic thinking, independent judgement and an ability to offer constructive challenge, with an interest in and knowledge of the Welsh education and learning landscape. An understanding or lived experience of international education and learning exchanges is also required.
If you are interested in making an application, please note that to be eligible Advisory Board members cannot be employed or have a formal governance role in an organisation that is either in receipt of Taith funding or would consider applying for future during the role’s term.

Taith wants to ensure that the new Advisory Board membership represents the values of the programme and the diversity of Wales, and in particular welcomes and encourages applications from individuals from communities underrepresented in international exchange – individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds, disadvantaged backgrounds, disabled people and those with additional learning needs. Targeted actions, including working with sector networks and equalities leads on the appointments process, will be undertaken by Taith to ensure this diversity.
