Taith Pathway 2 funding eligibility

1. Who can apply

Who can apply

We accept applications from not-for-profit organisations if they meet the sector eligibility criteria in section 2.1 of the Pathway 2 guide, including:

  1. registered charities or charitable incorporated organisations
  2. not-for-profit companies or community interest companies
  3. unincorporated associations
  4. schools in Wales (see programme guide for full eligibility guidance)
  5. colleges in Wales (see programme guide for full eligibility guidance)
  6. local Authorities in Wales (see programme guide for full eligibility guidance)
  7. other statutory bodies in Wales such as Health boards

If you are an organisation listed in points 1-3 above or another eligible type of not-for-profit organisation not listed, the following criteria also applies to your organisation. It must:

  • be established and trading for a minimum of 12 months and able to provide the most recent set of annual accounts
  • have a minimum of 2 trustees or directors
  • have a governing document such as a constitution, articles and association or a deed (you will be asked to provide this if you have not done so in the last 12 months or if the document has changed since you last submitted it)

All applying organisations must have demonstrable, recent experience of delivering activity in Wales within the sector to which they are applying.

Who cannot apply

We do not accept applications from:

  • individuals
  • sole traders
  • for-profit organisations including companies limited by shares
  • organisations that have not had any recent activity in Wales and within the sector they wish to apply for (e.g. an organisation that has had no youth activities in Wales, cannot apply for funding from the Youth sector)
  • schools, colleges, further education and vocational education and training organisations based outside Wales
  • organisations that have been established and trading for less than 12 months
  • universities in Wales (universities in Wales can only apply for Pathway 1 funding)
