OverviewPathway 1Pathway 2Applying for fundingAccess support

We are committed to making our programme as inclusive and accessible as possible.

If you or anyone working on your organisation’s application have a barrier to the Taith application process, we may be able to offer support or provide funding to support you to apply.

Before you apply

You can contact the team to discuss any specific needs you have by emailing enquiries@taith.wales. The team may be able to help with;

  • advice on eligibility
  • advice on how to apply, including how to complete the online form or alternative ways to apply
  • alternative formats of the application documents

If you need further support, we can pay for access support services which could include;

  • note taking
  • a BSL interpreter for one-to-one meetings
  • support with reading and understanding our guidance

What we do not fund;

  • anyone to write your funding bid for you or develop your project idea for you
  • costs already covered elsewhere such as through other access support grant funding
  • costs incurred prior to contacting Taith for support
  • support provided by family and friends
  • costs for caring responsibilities
  • hardware of software

During the application process

If at any time you decide that you do not want to continue with your application, you can let us know and you will not be under any obligation to submit your application. We will pay for any agreed support costs incurred up to the point that you decide not to continue.

To ensure that you have time to submit your application any access support requests should be made at the latest 2 weeks prior to the funding call closing date.

  • advice on how to complete any forms or processes

If you need further support, we can pay for access support service which could include;

  • a BSL interpreter for one-to-one meetings
  • support with reading and understanding our processes
  • support in completing our forms

How to access support

Get in touch with the team to discuss your support needs on enquiries@taith.wales. We won’t ask for proof of your support needs as we accept self-identification. We can either arrange a support worker for you, or if you have someone you have identified and would prefer to use, we can provide funding for this.

If agreed, Taith will fund the following;

  • applying to Pathway 1: up to a maximum day rate of £300 (8 hours per day) for a maximum of 2 days
  • applying to Pathway 2: up to a maximum day rate of £300 (8 hours per day) for a maximum of 1 day
  • project monitoring and reporting for a successfully funded project within either pathway: up to a maximum day rate of £300 (8 hours per day) for a maximum of 2 days
