Through their Taith Pathway 2 project, the National Learning and Work Institute, along with their consortium partners and a group of adult learners, have developed a new resource ‘Empowering Learner Ambassadors’. It provides an insight into new ways of engaging community adult learners, especially those who would benefit the most from adult learning opportunities.

By training adult learners to become learner ambassadors, the project empowers individuals who have personally experienced the value of adult learning. These ambassadors understand the needs of their communities and the barriers people face in accessing learning opportunities. Their lived experience enables them to connect with others, promote the benefits of lifelong learning, and encourage wider participation.

Watch this video to discover how this resource is supporting a more inclusive, engaged, and learner-led adult education sector, helping to shape the future provision in Wales.
