Independent Evaluation Reports

As a Welsh Government-funded programme, Taith is required to undergo independent evaluation. In August 2023, research organisation Wavehill was commissioned to carry out this evaluation and assess the impact Taith funding is having on individuals, schools, institutions, and organisations across Wales.

Three evaluations will be conducted over the lifetime of the programme:

• Inception Evaluation – completed at the start of the programme
• Interim Evaluation – conducted partway through the programme between 2024 and 2025
• Final Evaluation – scheduled for completion in 2028

Additionally, a dedicated evaluation of Global Wales III, the largest single grant funded by Taith, is being conducted. You can read the executive summary of the Inception Stage Evaluation here:

A final evaluation is underway and will be published in Spring 2026.
