3. Applying for Pathway 1
3.1. Deadline
The deadline to submit an application to the 2026 Pathway 1 funding call is 18 March 2026 at 12.00pm GMT. Applications received after this deadline will not be assessed.
3.2. Before you apply
There are a few steps we recommend you take before starting an application:
- check to make sure your organisation is eligible to apply, and that your participants and planned activities are eligible for your sector. Details on eligibility can be found in section 4
- read through this guide thoroughly, and make sure that Pathway 1 is the right fit for your organisation and planned project
- verify that your organisation has sufficient financial and operational capacity
- read through the Pathway 1 application support document – this has all the qualitative questions you will need to answer as part of the application, together with some additional supporting information
- join our support webinars and/or watch the pre recordings via our website
- get in touch with us at enquiries@taith.wales if you have any questions
3.3. Completing an application
Before starting your application, you must fill out our grant calculator. All you have to do is input how many participants you want to take part in each mobility type, to which country and for how long, and it will automatically calculate the amount you are able to request up to a maximum of £60,000. You can watch a pre-recorded video on the grant calculator here.
Once you have completed the grant calculator and know how much funding you are requesting, you can start your application form. The application form asks for written responses on a range of questions including a project overview, details about planned project activities, project and financial management, and relevance to Taith’s purpose and objectives. The application questions, and some supporting information can be found here.
