In order to ensure organisations interested in applying for Taith funding are fully supported through the process, we have engaged Taith Champions in the schools, youth and adult education sectors. The role of the Taith Champions is to raise awareness and promote Taith amongst organisations in their relevant sector, and to provide advice and support for organisations to apply for funding and to plan and run projects. The Taith Champions will focus specifically on engaging organisations with little or no experience of international exchange and with less resource available, and those working with the most disadvantaged, those from ethnic minority backgrounds and disabled people and/or those with Additional Learning Needs.
If your organisation is within the schools, youth or adult education sectors and you feel you would benefit from some advice and/or support to apply for Taith funding please do get in touch with the relevant Taith Champion.
The Taith Champion for the youth and schools sectors is WCIA (the Welsh Centre for International Affairs). WCIA are committed to working with youth sector organisations and schools to enable them to develop and deliver Taith applications that are tailored to the young people, or pupils, they work with, and to help them to build both the systems and confidence to successfully coordinate international mobilities.
