Evidence requirements for underrepresented groups

As outlined in the Grant Agreement letter, where the grant activities involve learners only, or learners and staff, the Grant Recipient will ensure that at least 25% of all mobility participants participating in the grant activities are from underrepresented groups.  Where the grant activities relate to a staff-only mobility, the Grant Recipient will ensure that there is a clear and demonstrable impact on the learners or young people those staff work with, in particular those from underrepresented groups. These categories are as follows:

  • People from disadvantaged backgrounds-
  • Disabled People
  • People with additional learning needs (ALN)
  • People from ethnic minority backgrounds

Grant Recipients are required to report the achievement of these targets via the participant reporting tool. Grant Recipients must verify this information as part of the final project reporting stage. Taith will also require Grant Recipients to outline their internal processes for determining that participants meet the criteria for underrepresented groups in cases where additional funding is requested. Taith may request further evidence as part of a desktop or onsite audit. Grant Recipients are not required to submit supporting evidence to Taith unless it is specifically requested.

Select your sector below for a list of evidence of the required evidence to collect for participants from underrepresented groups, for Taith audit purposes.
