We’ve just launched a six-week creative collaboration between students from Cardiff Met and our partner institution, H. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University in Ukraine.
Led by CSAD's Amelia Huw Morgan and Jo Spicer, with support from our Global Engagement team, this project explores embodied practice - going beyond representation to truly experience and express through art.
With funding from Taith, students are diving into Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed, using images, objects and puppet theatre to explore important social, cultural and political issues. Through digital workshops, they’re collaborating across borders, combining performance, movement and visual storytelling, while developing key skills like creativity, spontaneity and teamwork.
We’re so excited to see what they create together - stay tuned!
