3. Applying for Pathway 1
3.1. Deadline
The deadline to submit an application to the 2025 Pathway 1 funding call is 27 March 2025 at 12.00pm GMT. Applications received after this deadline will not be assessed.
3.2. Before you apply
Before beginning an application, it is recommended that you:
- check to make sure your organisation is eligible
- read through this Pathway 1 guide thoroughly, in particular the sector specific information on eligible mobilities, durations, participants and costs
- check that your organisation has sufficient Financial capacity and Operational capacity
- attend the guidance and support events on completing an application and read through the Pathway 1 resources on the website
- contact the Taith team if you have any questions
3.3. Completing an application
Organisations can apply for up to £60,000 within a Small Grants scheme, and those wishing to apply for more than £60,000 (up to the maximum available per sector) can do so via the Large Grant scheme. The Small Grants scheme has a simpler application form with fewer questions for the applicant to complete. Organisations can only apply under one option in each funding call.
Before starting your application, you must fill out our grant calculator to work out how much your budget request will be. All you have to do is input how many participants you want to take part in each mobility type, to which country and for how long, and it will automatically calculate the amount you are able to request. You will also need to provide an estimated start month for each mobility, and you will need to ensure your project duration is as accurate as possible. If successful, this will then dictate when you will receive funds within your project. You can watch a pre-recorded video on the grant calculator tool here.
Once you have completed the grant calculator and know how much funding you are requesting, you can start the application form. You will need to input the budget amount shown in your grant calculator into the application form. If the amount is £60,000 or less you will be directed to the application questions for Small Grants and if over £60,000 you will be directed to the application questions for Large Grants. The application form asks for written answers on a range of questions including a project overview, details about planned project activities, project and financial management, and relevance to Taith’s purpose and objectives. The application questions for small and large grants, and some supporting information can be found here.
