Taith Pathway 2 - Partnership and Strategic Collaboration - 2024

Programme Guide Version 1.0, Oct 2024

5. Assessment

To be considered for funding, an applying organisation must demonstrate in their application how their planned project meets the overall aim of Pathway 2: To support educational innovation in Wales.

The assessment process will enable Taith to evaluate the quality of the projects proposed and establish an overall outcome for each application. All applications will be assessed based on the below criteria:

  • The project aligns with the aim of Pathway 2;
  • The project aligns with at least one Pathway 2 theme;
  • There is a clear need and justification for the project;
  • There is clear evidence that the international partner’s specific skills, experience and knowledge are essential to the delivery of the project and the creation of the project output;
  • The planned project output is clearly defined, appropriate and justified;
  • The planned dissemination activities are clearly defined and justified;
  • The long-term benefits of the project are clear;
  • The project aligns with Taith’s strategic objective of ensuring exchanges provide the greatest impact;
  • The project is value for money.

We want to fund as many different projects as possible, but Taith funding is limited. Please only apply for the level of funding which is necessary to enable your project to go ahead.

Where there are more applications than funding available, priority will be given to projects which demonstrate the greatest potential impact for learners and young people, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds.
